Visitation Guidelines

Los Angeles County – The Department of Public Health has issued new guidelines for COVID-19.

There has been a continuous rise of cases and outbreaks in Skilled Nursing Facilities. The following measures must now be taken:

  1. All staff must wear masks at all times when in resident care areas.
  2. All visitors will be given a COVID-19 antigen test and mask before entry. This is regardless of vaccination status.
  3. If a visitor refuses the test and/or mask they will be asked to reschedule the visit.
  4. Landmark does not have private areas for visits on the weekend. If you would like to schedule a private visit please call the facility during normal business hours.
  5. If a visitor tests positive for COVID-19, whether symptomatic or not, they will not be allowed to visit.

Visiting Hours

GENERAL VISITING HOURS FOR ALL CLIENTS

  • Saturday and Sunday: 2:00 pm – 4: 15 pm & 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
  • Visitations are NOT allowed from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm & 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm, as these are meal times.
  • VISITORS MUST BE 16 YEARS OR OLDER TO VISIT
  • Visitations are conducted in the dining room for all eligible clients.
  • If visitors are planning on bringing a meal it cannot be bigger than medium (i.e., medium drink, medium fries).
  • Any leftovers must be taken by visitors, they cannot be left in the facility.
  • Nothing can be left for client use; such as money, clothes, shoes, toiletries, books, etc. Any such items must be sent by mail or dropped off during regular business office hours – Monday to Friday, 9 am – 4:30 pm.

FAMILIES ARE WELCOME TO MAKE SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR VISITATIONS!

Phone calls, both incoming and outgoing, are allowed between the hours of 6:00 am and 10:00 pm when the clients are not in class or during mealtimes.

Landmark Medical Center will help facilitate the rights of residents/resident representatives and their families/friends who wish to organize and participate in a RESIDENT GROUP/FAMILY COUNCIL AND WILL DO SO WITHOUT INTERFERENCE.
