Admissions

Landmark Medical is licensed by the State of California Department of Health Care Services as a “Special Treatment Center for the Mentally Disordered.” We are prepared to help both individuals and families navigate through this challenging but hopeful process of health and change and would be happy to answer any questions you may have about admissions.

Some prerequisite questions for admission to this program are:

1. Does the individual have a physician determined psychiatric diagnosis?
   

2. Is the individual physically able to participate?
   

3. Does the individual have the potential to return to the community within a reasonable time period?
   

At Landmark Medical, the length of stay varies according to the individuals rate of progress, with the average length of stay being 10 months. Strict discharge procedures are followed in order to insure program continuity.
